The Engine Architecture

Like specialized processors in a computer (CPU for logic, GPU for graphics), Kifuliiru Lab engines each handle specific language processing tasks. The OS coordinates them to accomplish complex workflows.

Data Engine

Generates grammatically correct Kifuliiru content at scale

Produces numbers, verb conjugations, conversations, sentences, and educational materials using linguistic templates and rules. Powers the creation of thousands of examples automatically.

Translation Engine

Converts content between Kifuliiru and other languages

Handles translation to and from French, English, and Swahili. Uses rule-based methods enhanced with AI for context-aware, accurate translations.

Audio Engine

Processes speech—text-to-speech and speech recognition

Generates pronunciations for words and sentences, enables voice interfaces, and powers audio learning features. Native speaker voice models ensure authentic pronunciation.

Validation Engine

Ensures quality through automated and community review

Runs automated checks for grammar and consistency, routes content to community validators, manages consensus workflows, and tracks validation status.

Learning Engine

Powers adaptive educational experiences

Enables discovery across all Kifuliiru content

Provides semantic search that understands meaning, filters by category and language, handles synonyms and related terms, and powers autocomplete features.
